I have had the opportunity to be a resident and mentor at Visual Arts Mississauga for their Prismatic BIPOC residency program.
The exhibition was open from Septemeber 20th - 29th 2024
My work at Union Station in 2024!
I have had the honour of being a part of MakeRoom and Union’s stations’ collaboration for their exhibit called Black Dreams and Aspirations sponsored by TD. In total 12 artists have been chosen for this installation divided into groups of 6. We were asked to make pieces highlighting what it means to dream while black. The collection was available for viewing during Black History Month until mid-May 2024.
The first installment which stars me alongside 5 other artists, Yaw Tony, Yomi Orimoloye, Sarah Waithe, Kahame Msiska, and Segun Caezar.
